Friendship

Our CherBook event on Friendship explored the many ways we build, nurture, and experience meaningful relationships. We chose this theme because friendship is one of the most important aspects of our lives, yet we rarely pause to reflect on how it shapes who we are and evolves over time.

Activities

  • Icebreaker: Participants shared a subject they have been wanting to talk about but haven’t found the space to do so yet.

  • Guided discussions: Participants reflected on what makes a meaningful friendship, how friendships evolve through different stages of life, navigating conflict and distance, making friends as adults, and the people who have had the greatest impact on their lives.

Key takeaway
Friendship has no single definition. Every relationship is unique, and by sharing our experiences, we discovered that meaningful friendships can take many different forms throughout our lives.
